The Kings Siblings Fight In Court Over Their Father Estate

Atlanta, GA (February 4, 2014). On January 20, as we observed my father’s 85th birthday and The King Holiday, my brothers, Dexter Scott King and Martin Luther King, III, notified me that they want to sell to a private buyer our father’s most prized possessions, his Nobel Peace Prize Medal and his personal Bible which was used by President Barak Obama as he was sworn in for his second term in office and subsequently signed by him. I am absolutely opposed to the selling of these extremely sacred items and I expressed my opposition to my brothers. Although these items have been under my care and custody for the past few years, they have remained in a safe and secure location since my father’s assassination, and my mother’s death in 2006. After I refused to immediately transfer these items to another location at their request, consequently on January 31 my brothers through The Estate of Martin L. King, Jr., Inc filed a lawsuit {Civil Action No. 2014cv241929} to force me to turn these items over for the express purpose of selling them. In my opinion, there isno justification for selling either of these sacred items. They are priceless and should never be exchanged for money in the marketplace.

While I love my brothers dearly, this latest decision by them is extremely troubling. Not only am I appalled and utterly ashamed, I am frankly disappointed that they would even entertain the thought of selling these precious items. It reveals a desperation beyond comprehension. As Mark 8:36 teaches, “For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?” Our Father MUST be turning in his grave.

As a minister of the Gospel, the thought of selling my daddy’s Bible troubles my mind, vexes my spirit and weighs on my soul. The thought of profiting from the sale of the Peace Prize Medal, which my father accepted 50 years ago this year on behalf of the greatest demonstration of peace this nation has ever seen, is spiritually violent, unconscionable, historically negligent, and outright morally reprehensible. This is especially true in light of the fact that my father gave away every dime of the Nobel award money to support the civil rights movement.

My brothers’ decision to sue me is drastic and grieves me greatly. I have absolutely no desire to be in court or to fight yet another public battle. There are crippling questions plaguing our world and our father had many answers. Our energy should be focused on the business of advancing his nonviolent teachings in the world. Nonetheless, some actions are sacrilegious and some things are not for sale no matter the circumstances, including my daddy’s Bible and Nobel Peace Prize Medal. Both are tangible evidence of the faith and devotion of Martin Luther King, Jr. and Coretta Scott King. Parting with this priceless memorabilia should not be an option.

Though I am unsettled at the prospect of losing these treasures, I am steadfast in my strength to protect them. I continue to pray for my brothers, especially that they will recognize that no amount of money can compensate for the priceless inheritance we received from our parents and our responsibility to advancing their legacies.

The Call Upon My Life

Good Morning FB Family & Friends, Most people that have even known me from the beginning that God allowed me to enter this world though my mother womb and watched me grow in the kingdom of God and even now would think my greatest passion is Singing and while it is a gift from God that allow me to bless others with as well as myself it comes second to my greatest passion. When the Lord confirmed to me to spoken word ministry in 1984. His assignment for me was to minister to the Non Church, Those who would not even enter the 4 walls of what we call the Church, The Place where we come as one in one place on one accord to Worship God and get Biblical Instruction from the Shepard of the house.

So as a young man in the later 70's way before the official call by God came, I was introduced to Street Evangelism and Jail Ministry from a young lady Evangelist Jackie Martin that now she is in Pastoral Ministry. With my Parents, Pastor Consent and blessings we would do go out and hit the streets, we would do Shelter Ministry, Jail Ministry and being the height that I am it was easily to attract people of all walks of life to me, as it currently still does. So as I sit here and think about how the many of us in ministry especially Spoken Word Ministry only viewpoint and mission assignment is to minister mainly behind the 4 walls of the church to those who have God. When there are more people who need the Lord outside the 4 walls of the Church. Yes I can give you a word that will make you jump, skip and run and slap your neighbor hand and say wow that little man bless my soul.

In closing of this 1st phase that I will presents. I can testify and not boast in myself but only God to receive the glory fully. I have seen the results of God call on my life, The ones he allowed them to allow me to minister to them to receive the Lord in their life and proudly I can say they still remain saved and productivity saved and to ask your question in your mind possibly have I ever consider Pasturing and the answer is no that is not my calling and I don't even think about it. My Official Calling is Word and Music Ministry.

I close now by saying let us each learn to be more effective in our calling and do more of what Jesus instructed us to do, Go out into all the world and be witnesses to God and not just witnesses to those who already know who Jesus is if we did that I believe the things in the world would change even the more. Each One, Reach One!!!!

Release And Let It Go!!!

Greetings precious people of God, God has given me a word to give unto you to encourage and strengthen you in the body of Christ. Release And Let It Go! Release Your Past hurts, Your Past failures and Fears, which the devil has placed in your life. Don’t let a devil in hell or earth tell you any different.

And because he has given you the power and authority to call them things as they be, Then arise above your fears, heartache and disappointments that you are hanging on to; those things that are keeping you back from all of the promises of God. 2Timothy 1:7 (KJV) declares unto us For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

You have been given the power to overcome the things of your past, You have power to walk in faith, You have power to place the devil under your feet, You have power to call them things as they be, Deliverance, Healing, Prosperity, Salvation. You have power even to change a generation.

God has called you for such a time as now to be more than a conqueror, And I touch in agreement with you that you be Healed, Delivered and that you Be Set Free from them things that Hold and Bound You Down. So right now begin to release those things and move on to your full destiny in God!!!!!

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., President Barack H. Obama & The Stellar Awards

The Weekend of so many things going on beginning on tonight with the Stellar Awards being Live on The Gospel Music Channel hosted by Kirk Franklin along with Mary, Mary Erika and Tina Campbell then on Sunday President Barack H. Obama will be officially sworn in once again as our 44th President of The United States of America because of law The President must be Sworn In on The 20th of January and On Monday January 21, 2013 The Nation will Celebrate as one with President Obama is Sworn in to the Nation along with Celebrating The Birthday of the slain Civil Right Leader The Right Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

I call it a Weekend of Celebration for the African American Race, For look how far God has brought us and where he is taking us while we have challenges ahead look how far he has brought us and with Great Vision ahead of us if we not allow the Devil to divide us within our own human race we can make greater things happen.

I am excited because of where I have come from and the pathway that I am on for continue success I have become an over-comer myself through many obstacles but through God I am a Stronger, Wiser and Better for I Would Never Made It as Dr. Marvin L. Sapp say's in one of his songs.

I now see so much better of what my Grandparents and Parents fought so hard for, I along with many others for we are the true recipient of their prayers, labor and their fight for justice for all and not just for the African American Race.

Sleep On Dr. Martin L. Kings for you were a true Soldier in The Army of Faith and of the Lord, Your labor was not in vain it's because of your fight for justice that we now have a 2nd Term African American President of The United States.

Yes a weekend of 3 Major African American Celebration and it only gets better with time and Thank you God for hearing the cry of your people through Prayer and Supplication.

The Word Of The Lord.....


If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

As often as I hear this scripture quoted, read and even preached I often wondered if we truly get the essence of what this verse is saying to those who read it.  In my observance of it God tells us what he is able to do if we meet his condition. If I was to preach this I would entitle it “If”

If My People Will Humble Themselves
If My People Would Pray
If My People Would Seek My Face
If My People Would Turn from their Wicked Ways
If we do all as prescribed this is what he is willing to do for us…
Then I Will Hear From Heaven
Then I Will Forgive Their Sin
Then I Will Heal Their Land

Only then will I meet your needs and mandates only If you would do what I have asked of you….. Most times we want to bypass the instruction in order to gain the results and often wonder why God is not doing what he said he would do. The Bible is as I heard someone said Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth!!!!
I believe and know from on hand experience that when we follow his word as he has prescribed for us is when we will see his hand mightily in our lives. We need to Humble Ourselves, We Must Pray and in Prayer seek his Face and lastly turn from our wicked ways (sin) in order to see the mighty hand of God Plain and Simple If we only do these things. 

Congratulation President Barack H. Obama On Your 2nd Term As POTUS!!!

On this coming Sunday January 20, 2013 The 44th President of The United States Of America Barack H. Obama will be sworn in for his Second Term in Office.  President Obama is the 1st Black President whom in my opinion has done a remarkable job. I am not basing it only because he is a Black African Male. I am basing it on the fact that when he took the office so much was turned over to him to fix and with the opposition given him he pressed forward and did the best his could.

President Obama took much opposition on Same Sex Marriage, Many African American Pastor rallied against him for his stand and felt that he betrayed the Christian Base Faith Church that strongly Preach, Teach against same Sex Marriage. I salute you and pray for you President Barack H. Obama and I pray that God lead and guide you and I decree and declare that the blood of Jesus Christ cover and protect you and 1st Lady Michele Obama and your two Daughters from Danger Seen And Unseen.  The Inaugural will continue over into Monday January 21, 2013 with many forms of activities slated.
